Summer events
in Islington and Blackfriars
Hello,
I know it doesn’t feel like summer right now, but it will do soon, and we have two upcoming events:
1/ Our craft event on Sunday 21st June - sit and chat to other people interested in coparenting while you make stuff. It’s at the LGBTQ+ Centre in Blackfriars, drop in between 1.30pm and 3. More info on Outsavvy (tix are free).
2/ Q&A on platonic coparenting followed by a trip to Indian Veg in Chapel Market, on Friday 3rd July at 7pm. This event is in two parts: from 7-8pm, at Q&A with Dutch counsellor and coparent Sara Coster at the fantastic HoldSpace in Islington, followed 8-9pm, we’ll be heading to Indian Veg afterwards (92-93 Chapel Market, London N1 9EX). This extraordinary place is all-you-can-eat for about £4.50 and the food is delicious. You can come for the talk, or dinner, or both. This event is a great introduction to queer platonic coparenting if you’re just dipping your toes in to see if it’s a family formation that might work for you, and there will be points of detail that might be useful to existing coparents. Free tickets here.
For more info, we have a Linktree with resources, an Instagram, many Whatsapp groups (email queerplatoniccoparenting@gmail.com to join them) and if you want to run an event, please get in touch so we can support you in that.
Have a lovely Sunday!
Leo
